Epilepsy. He was born epileptic. He has, from what we can tell, five different kinds of seizures. What’s common for him seems to cycle. For a while it’ll be mostly absence seizures, then tonic-clonic or clonic, myclonic seem to sprinkle in with everything else. The myclonic seizures no one really worries about, they mostly happen when he’s half asleep or really sleep deprived.

But..he went off his seizure meds recently because Daemon said they were ‘melting his brain’ and was horrified that he’d more than tripled the dosage since they’d last seen one another. Plus Seamus (Angel’s seizure dog) was with Gabe (Angel’s son, also epileptic) because Lucah (Angel’s former, Gabe’s current, seizure dog) pulled a muscle in his leg and they’re likely going to retire him soon. Don’t worry, it just means he’ll get to nap all day at the house instead of having to keep up with an epileptic three year old.

What a shitstorm of a paragraph. Here’s what I took from it:

Angel is off his seizure meds (GOD HELP US ALL)
Daemon told angel that they melt his brain, which is why angel stopped taking them
Seamus is a dog that can detect seizures, but angel was fucked because seamus left his side (LOL GOOD IDEA)
seamus left angel’s side to be with gabe, angel’s also epileptic son
that happened because gabe’s seizure dog who is angel’s old seizure dog is gonna be put down (retired, LOL MIGHT HAVE TO RETIRE MY ASTRAL DOG) and he’s a good dad

This made me tired. I’m assuming it was a particularly bad seizure and he’s just sedated somewhere or something. Bet his eyes bled, or his ears. That happens more often than anyone likes.
